Ouran High School Host Club

Ouran High School Host Club is a lot to type or say, so let's shorten it to Ouran HSHC.

This is a really funny anime (I haven't read the manga, so sorry!). It is kind of a rebel among anime, because it satirizes the stereotypes that are usually portrayed in anime/manga, and the characters break the fourth wall (separating them from the audience) sometimes. I had a lot of fun watching it, and my mom came into my room to make sure I was all right, because I burst out laughing.

Plot: Haruhi Fujioka is a girl who starts at a new high school on a scholarship -a high school for extremely rich people. When searching for somewhere quiet to study, she happens upon the abandoned "Music Room Three..." Abandoned except for a Host Club made up of a colorful cast of characters. Fate leads her into joining the club... And... Well... Hilarity ensues.

Pros: Characters(Everyone is just awesome), watchability(Not a word, I know, I know... But it's true. This anime is a joy to watch... You'll want to share it with your friends), comedy (It's so hilarious! A certain episode puts the characters in an Alice and Wonderland situation... That was one of my favorite episodes)

Cons: Ending (It's a little cheesy and predictable... Not disappointing at all though ^.^) English subs/dub (It's really confusing. Some episodes are available only in english dubbed, some in english subtitles... I recommend just watching them all English subbed.)

Youtube has full episodes of Ouran HSHC, so you can watch them there. But I must warn you, like I said above, they switch from English Subtitled to English Dubbed sometimes.

Hmmm... Anything important you should know... The main character is really different than the average anime girl, she is sort of low-voiced and has short hair. You might mistake her for a boy in the beginning of the English Subs... It's kind of funny, because that's exactly how it is in the anime. She is mistaken for a boy.

This is definitely more targeted for girls, but it holds enough for a potential laugh from you guys out there. The only thing that classifies it as shoujo is the romance, really, and in my opinion there isn't hardly enough of that. (Don't you worry, romance fans. There's enough. But I always wish there was more :P )
